Adrian Williams grew up in Winnipeg, Canada, receiving his BFA from The University of Manitoba. He was an original member of Winnipeg's The Royal Art Lodge.

 

He has spent time producing work in Montreal, Toronto, Los Angeles and Berlin.

 

His work is generally drawing-based, often incorporating elements of collage, painting, print, woodwork and miscellaneous reclaimed material.

 

His imagery and subject matter tend toward the narrative, both personal and mythological, the contemporary and the historic. Themes often incorporate the philosophical, the despondent, the amusing...
